A fire broke out in a bakery in Gmünd on Wednesday. The cause was initially unclear.
A fire broke out in a bakery in the old town of Gmünd in the early hours of Wednesday morning for reasons that are currently unknown. "Thanks to the committed actions of the employees present, a major fire was prevented," the district command reported in a press release. The flames were fought with fire extinguishers. A machine was affected.
Eight fire departments were alerted. The operation in the Waldviertel town was over after around two hours.
