After her separation from Boris Becker, she and her son Amadeus had to spend the night on a bench in a pub, claims Lilly Becker. In an interview with RTL, however, the current jungle queen contradicts herself on this point.
Almost two weeks ago, Lilly Becker was crowned the new jungle queen. In the 18th season of the RTL show "I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here!" ( here on RTL+ ), the 48-year-old won the hearts of viewers with her social nature and her courage during the jungle tests. In addition to the jungle crown, Becker was also able to take home prize money of 100,000 euros in addition to her jungle camp fee. This money could quickly be gone again, because Lilly Becker has a court date on Wednesday.
The dispute between her and her former good friend, Pierre Uebelhack, has been going on for over a year. After her separation from Boris Becker, the TV manager is said to have supported Lilly Becker financially - with a total of 489,869.12 euros. Part of the sum is now being negotiated in the Munich Regional Court. The plaintiff claims that he only lent Lilly the money. The 48-year-old counters that it was a gift.
Lilly Becker is said to have not been doing well financially after the end of her marriage to the former tennis star. In 2023, she reported to the "Bild" newspaper that Boris Becker had thrown her out of their shared London villa. Her statement that she had had to sleep on a bench in a pub with their son Amadeus on July 31, 2018, made headlines. "We were suddenly on the street and Amadeus noticed," Lilly Becker said in the RTL jungle camp, describing the situation she found herself in with the now 15-year-old. Her ex-husband Boris Becker did not comment on RTL's request about the alleged "kick-out" of his ex.
RTL has an invoice according to which Lilly Becker actually spent a night in the London pub "Dog & Fox" at the time she stated. However, in one of the rooms. Because the pub is also a hotel.
Lilly Becker breaks off the interviewWhen asked about this in an RTL interview, Becker deviated from the pub bench version and explained: "Well, it was a bed, but it was incredible." She probably didn't mean to say that it was incredibly good, but rather the opposite. When asked by RTL, she also confirmed: "It was a bed in a room, in a pub." But then she suddenly backtracked and changed the story: "I never said it was in a hotel room. It was in a café." According to the bill from the "Dog & Fox", she is said to have stayed there that night - in room number seven.
A more precise clarification is no longer possible in the RTL interview, because Lilly Becker breaks it off. "I'm done. I'm done with you and you can do your journalist stuff," she explains to her interview partner.
According to RTL information, after her night at the "Dog & Fox", Becker is said to have moved into a large house in the upscale district of Wimbledon. Friends are said to have paid the rent for this property for her - among them the plaintiff Pierre Uebelhack. Comparable houses in this residential area cost around 7,500 euros per month.
