The ARD "summer interview" with AfD leader Alice Weidel was almost drowned out by the noise of a counter-demonstration. The open-air discussion in the government district on the Spree River was accompanied by protests from the other side of the Spree, including whistles, horns, and loud music with anti-AfD slogans. A smaller group of demonstrators and a large bus were visible on the other side of the Spree.
