Weather forecast: Light rain and showers in Bavaria - but also sun
On the way out, Bavarians can take their umbrellas with them again - wet weather is in sight. The German Weather Service (DWD) is expecting widespread rain in Franconia as early as Tuesday evening. The day will still be very mild, with temperatures between nine and 14 degrees. During the night into Wednesday, it is likely to rain lightly at times and cool down a bit.
For Wednesday, mostly cloudy weather with light rain is forecast. It may even snow in the mountains. In southern Bavaria, however, you should hold on to your umbrella: the DWD is expecting strong to stormy gusts. Temperatures will drop slightly to a maximum of ten degrees.
On Thursday, the rain will move from northwest to southeast, but the sun will also appear in places. A day later, on Friday, the forecast calls for snow, sleet and rain showers. Short thunderstorms are also possible. South of the Danube, however, you can look forward to longer periods of sunshine and drier weather. Maximum temperatures will only be between two and eight degrees.
