From Commerzbank: Berenberg appoints Head of Wealth Management in Hamburg

Berenberg has appointed André Nogat as Head of Wealth Management in its home market of Hamburg. The position was newly created. The team consists of approximately 20 employees. He reports to Dennis Hummelmeier, Head of Wealth Management Germany. Nogat has over two decades of experience serving wealthy private clients.
“He embodies precisely the combination of consulting expertise and regional network that will decisively strengthen our business in our home region,” explains Hummelmeier.
"Hamburg and the surrounding area is an important center for HNWIs, UHNWIs, and medium-sized companies. This corresponds precisely to the client groups we focus on and to whom we offer suitable solutions across our three business areas: Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, and Wealth and Asset Management," adds Klaus Naeve, Head of Wealth and Asset Management at Berenberg.
Nogat joins from Commerzbank , where he worked for over 20 years. Most recently, he was Regional Manager for Schleswig-Holstein, Northern Lower Saxony, and Hamburg, where he was responsible for Wealth Management and Private Banking.
Berenberg expands Wealth Management in Frankfurt am MainThe private bank is also expanding its staff in the financial metropolis on the Main. Nine new employees have been added to the Wealth Management division in Frankfurt, according to Berenberg, who are coming from various competitors. Sven Friske has been on board as Head of Wealth Management Frankfurt since the beginning of April, along with another colleague. The team currently comprises eleven employees, consisting of seven advisors and four relationship managers. Seven more employees will join at the beginning of July: six advisors and one relationship manager.
