Luxury watches and cash: New charges against René Benko

The former bodyguard stated during his testimony that there was a well-disguised safe in the basement of a house in Pfunds, a small Tyrolean community 100 kilometers southwest of Innsbruck. The house belongs to a close relative of Benko's, and when investigators investigated there, they found confirmation of what the man had said.
