Jason Kennedy's Son, 2, in ICU With Mystery Infection

Jason Kennedy's family is facing a terrifying health ordeal.
The former E! News host and his wife of 11 years Lauren Scruggs Kennedy shared that their 2-year-old son Ryver Rhodes was hospitalized due to a mysterious infection.
"If you could say a prayer for our boy Ryver it would mean a lot," the couple wrote in a joint Feb. 26 Instagram post, alongside a photo of their son sitting on his dad's lap while in the doctor's room. "Day 2 in pediatric intensive care, the infection is leaving doctors perplexed and we are hopeful for more answers today."
And Jason—who is also dad to daughter Poppy Ford, 16 months, with Lauren—went on to provide some insight into how they're coping with the scary experience by resharing the post to his Instagram Story with Vertical Worship's song "Yes I Will" playing in the background.
"Gutting to see him in this kind of pain," he added. "This song has been our anthem."
Following Ryver's health update, Lauren and Jason received an outpouring of support from their friends and loved ones.
As Kourtney Kardashian commented under the announcement, "Prayed for the baby boy."
"Sending all our love & prayers, family," E!'s Erin Lim Rhodes added, while Chrissy Metz wrote, "Storming the heavens!"
Additionally, Ryan Pinkston made sure the journalist and lifestyle blogger knew he was in their corner.
"Lord please protect and heal Ryver," the Punk'd alum said. "Restore him to full health and light, and give Lauren and Jason the peace and strength they need to get through this uncertain time. In Jesus name, AMEN."
And while more details on Ryver's infection have yet to be uncovered, Lauren recently detailed another incident in which she needed medical care for her toddler and was able to get it quickly through the members-only healthcare office Sollis.
"I recently had the most drawn out experience with ryver at urgent care," Lauren wrote in a Feb. 14 Instagram post, "so this brings me so much peace of mind knowing my babies can go here and get answers and care right away."
