The US President was apparently informed in May by Attorney General Pam Bondi that his name appeared in the investigation files against sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These were unconfirmed witness statements based on hearsay.

Donald Trump simply can't seem to push the discussion about the Epstein files out of the headlines. On Wednesday, the first indications emerged that what had long been suspected was true: Trump's name is in the documents related to the investigation into the sex offender, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing anonymous high-ranking government officials. Several other media outlets confirmed the news shortly thereafter with their own sources.
