Tesla boss drops bombshell: Elon Musk claims Donald Trump is mentioned in Epstein files

Tesla CEO Elon Musk accuses US President Donald Trump of being mentioned in secret Epstein files and calls for Trump's impeachment. Despite a lack of evidence, the president remains calm.
Tech giant Elon Musk claims Trump's name is in secret government documents about pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. On the platform X, he wrote: "Time to drop the really big bombshell: Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. This is the real reason they haven't been released. Have a nice day, DJT!"
According to CNN, Musk had not provided clear information about how he could have gained access to the controversial financier's unpublished files and provided no evidence for his allegations.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called Elon Musk's claims an "unfortunate incident" to CNN on Thursday night. She explained that Musk was unhappy with the " big, beautiful bill " because it didn't include the policies he wanted. "The president is focused on making our country great again by passing this bill," Leavitt said.

Trump commented on his platform Truth Social that he didn't mind Musk turning against him , but that he wished he had seen it sooner. Musk then went even further, calling for Trump's impeachment, threatening to shut down SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft, and warning of a possible recession triggered by the president's tariffs, as reported by the Telegraph . Musk later retracted the threat regarding the spacecraft after a user on the platform advised X to calm the situation and take a break. Well-known investor Bill Ackman also spoke out in favor of reconciliation between the two, stressing that a joint approach would make more sense for the good of the country. Musk agreed with the comment and signaled a willingness to talk.
