Thuringia's FDP leader Thomas Kemmerich resigns from the party
The former state chairman of the FDP in Thuringia is leaving the Liberals after more than 20 years.
The Thuringian state chairman of the FDP, Thomas Kemmerich, has announced his resignation from the party. He posted a picture of a letter to FDP federal chairman Christian Dürr on his account on the news platform "X." After more than 20 years in the party, he "has come to the conclusion that my ideas about the future of our state and the substantive development of the party have diverged," Kemmerich wrote in the letter.
