Safeture, the travel safety technology provider, has updated its risk maps for all continents. Users can access safety-related information in Africa, Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Oceania.

The new maps were developed in collaboration with Riskline, a travel risk analysis company. They offer comprehensive insights into the risk levels of each country. Color-coded from dark green (low risk), light green (low risk), yellow (medium risk), orange (high risk), and red (critical risk), they are intended to provide quick orientation for anyone planning a trip abroad.

In addition to national risk assessments, the maps contain detailed information on cities with particularly high crime rates, where travelers should exercise increased vigilance. The risk maps for the various continents provide an overview of the ten (six in Oceania) most dangerous cities on the continent, along with a brief description of the types of risks. They also offer information on continent-relevant hazards, whether for individual countries, regions, or natural disasters.

"Whether for business or pleasure, anyone traveling today should be aware of potential risks," explains Marcel Brandt, Chief Sales Officer at Safeture. "Our updated global risk maps are a helpful tool for targeted preparation and rapid response in the event of an emergency."

The maps have been designed to be user-friendly and provide a simple, visual overview of the global security situation. Especially for travel to high-risk areas, Safeture recommends setting up a technical solution for quickly contacting an assistance provider.

The risk maps are available for free download here .
