The best airlines of 2025 – the Skytrax ranking

Just as exceptional restaurants are awarded Michelin stars and great films win Oscars, there's a similar recognition in the aviation industry: For the Skytrax World Airline Awards, 325 airlines are evaluated annually and more than 20 million passengers are surveyed to determine the best, most affordable, and most comfortable airlines. We present this year's winners.
For the ninth time in the 26-year history of the Skytrax Awards, Qatar Airways took home the title. The Doha-based airline was also named Best Airline in the Middle East, Best Business Class in the World, and Best Business Class Airline Lounge.
