Alfonso Durazo headed the installation of the State Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture

Alfonso Durazo led the installation of the first State Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture in Sonora , a key body to regulate and develop the sector with a sustainable approach.

In his message, he stressed that this initiative sets a national precedent and will strengthen fishing activity in the state.

Alfonso Durazo swore in the members of the State Council of Fisheries and Aquaculture , accompanied by Alejandro Flores Nava , from Conapesca, and Víctor Manuel Vidal, from IMIPAS.

At the event, the president stressed the importance of this space to promote policies that modernize fishing and aquaculture .

The State Council for Fisheries and Aquaculture is made up of Alfonso Durazo as president, Célida López as vice president, and other members specialized in the sector.

In this regard, the governor spoke with fishery producers, committing to address their needs and promote their development.
