Baia, baia: Messi's bodyguard attacked Atlas players.

Baia, baia: Messi's bodyguard attacked Atlas players.

Malvinas with bodyguards.- As part of our popular section "What did the Argentines do this week?", Lionel Messi's bodyguard attacked Atlas players at the end of a Leagues Cup match... because of course he did.

The aberrant events occurred after Inter Miami's match against the Mexican club, which—guess what?—ended with an offside goal in favor of Inter that, obviously, the referee didn't call.

Inter Miami won it with a controversial goal! 🫣.

In the final play of the match, Marcelo Weigandt, who appeared to be offside, tapped in a Messi pass to give Inter Miami the win. The referee ruled the goal valid after a VAR review. pic.twitter.com/7peh3S1Y23

Messi has his mommy to defend him

Beyond the result (which no one expected to be fair), what caught the most attention was that at the end of the match, held at Chase Stadium, Lio's bodyguard came on the scene to push the red-and-blacks when they approached to complain to the Argentine for celebrating the (dubious) winning goal in his face.

It was just after the match, when "La Pulga" "sang" the goal to Matías Cóccaro, that several Atlas players went up to the Patagonian native to demand a little respect. This was enough for Yassine Cheuko, the personal bodyguard of Gianni Infantino's best friend, to appear. He clearly hasn't walked the streets of Mexico long enough to learn a few manners.

“HE HAD NOTHING TO DO THERE”

The controversy surrounding the bodyguard's entry onto the field, pushing some Atlas players, has caused divided opinions.

In the videos, you can clearly see how the good Cheuko attacks the red-and-blacks, pushing them without anyone having asked him to do anything... not even Messi.

The fact that FIFA (and MLS) continue to allow this type of behavior confirms once again how desperate they are to push the narrative that Messi has already surpassed Pelé and Maradona, when in reality he hasn't even surpassed Ronaldo, Cruyff, or CR7 himself, who at least protects himself.

This is a thousand times worse than throwing away the cell phone of an autistic fan or child.

This criminal "Bodyguard" of Messi practically puts a death lock on a defenseless child who just wants to say hello to his idol.

That inhuman thug only takes orders from his boss, and that's him... pic.twitter.com/2ZR370P9Us

And just to be up to date:“Racist Lady” was thrown water as she was leaving the courthouse.
