The Government will face a new control session in Congress on Wednesday with questions about corruption in the new international panorama, with special emphasis on the situation in Ukraine and the US president's tariff war. The First Vice President and Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, will have a special role this Wednesday, when she will be asked several questions about taxation and corruption or her candidacy for the presidency of Andalusia. The minister also presides over the Fiscal and Financial Policy Council (CPFF), which brings together the Finance Ministers of the communities, to address the Executive's proposal to forgive the regions 83,000 million euros of regional debt, which is opposed by the PP, which governs 11 regions. In addition, Judge Peinado will continue with the investigation of the Begoña Gómez case by questioning her advisor in La Moncloa, Cristina Álvarez, as well as four witnesses in the case, including the executive directors of Indra and Google.
