The auction will be conducted online through the official website of the U.S. Department of State's global auction system. It will begin at 12:00 p.m. on August 7th, and bidding will close at the same time on August 11th.
What products will the U.S. Embassy in Mexico auction?The event will be held under the " highest bidder wins " format, with starting prices starting at 0.01 pesos. All bids and amounts will be expressed in local currency .
Below are some of the products that the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City will auction:
- A 2010 Chrysler Town & Country SUV, valued at 150 thousand pesos.
- Furniture: 45 dining chairs, desks, office chairs, filing cabinets, cupboards, dining tables, sofas, mattresses.
- Appliances and goods: washing machine, ice maker, televisions, air compressors, radio equipment, mattresses, hair dryers, microwave ovens, dishwashers.
- Auto parts: tires and a vehicle door.
