Do you have the pound?: Double Hoy No Circula for this Thursday, February 27 in CDMX and Edomex

Be careful, drivers! The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has activated phase I of the environmental contingency , so there will be a Double No Circulation Day for this Thursday, February 27 .

In addition to cars with green stickers, license plates ending in 1 and 2, with hologram 1 or 2, the following vehicles must remain stored:

Private vehicles with verification hologram 1 , whose last numerical digit is 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 0.

Private vehicles with verification hologram 00 and 0, green sticker, plate ending in 1 and 2.

Vehicles that do not carry a verification hologram, such as old vehicles, demonstration or transfer vehicles, new vehicles, those with a tourist pass, foreign license plates or license plates made up of letters, are subject to the same restriction as vehicles that carry hologram 2.

Local or federal cargo vehicles stop circulating between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., with the exception of those that are in the CDMX or EDOMEX Self-Regulation Program .

Taxis with verification hologram “00”, “0”, “1” or “2” that must stop circulating according to the provisions indicated in sections 1), 2), and 3), will be restricted from circulating from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Electric and hybrid cars or vehicles that have an ecological license plate or exempt type hologram.
• Vehicles bearing a valid “00” or “0” hologram , regardless of their use, regardless of the federal entity where they are registered, may circulate if they have a sticker other than green and license plate ending in 1 and 2.
• Vehicles for private use intended for clear and urgent circumstances to respond to a medical emergency.
• Taxis can circulate from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on days restricted by the Hoy No Circula Program, regardless of the hologram they carry, in order to support the mobility of the population.
• Urban service vehicles, intended to provide emergency services, medical emergencies, health, public safety, firefighting, rescue, civil protection, environmental surveillance and water supply.
• School and staff transportation that meets current vehicle verification specifications and has the corresponding hologram and authorization.
• Vehicles intended for funeral processions and transportation of funeral services, which have a valid verification hologram.
• Cars for people with disabilities who have the Permit to exempt the Hoy No Circula due to Disability , the Disability Hologram, or a license plate for people with disabilities according to the corresponding entity.
• Transportation of waste and hazardous materials that have the corresponding authorization, except for vehicles that transport fuels (gasoline, diesel and LP gas).
• Vehicles identified with a public passenger and tourism service circulation card (vans, minibuses and buses) with a federal or local license plate, which comply with the current verification provisions
• Motorcycles are exempt from Phase I.
