One dead and one injured after a car overturned and caught fire in Fortuna (Murcia).

An 18-year-old man was injured and another man, approximately 30 years old, died in a traffic accident that occurred during the early hours of Thursday on the RM-423 road , near the municipality of Fortuna , in the Region of Murcia , according to the 112 emergency service .

The alert came at 2:38 a.m. when a driver reported an overturned car engulfed in flames on the aforementioned road. Local police officers, Civil Guard personnel, firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium , and a 061 ambulance with medical personnel responded to the scene.

Shortly after, at 2:55 a.m., a local resident also contacted 112 to report that a young man had come to his home asking for help . The injured 18-year-old was treated by medical services and later transferred to the Morales Meseguer Hospital in Murcia .

The second occupant of the vehicle , a man in his 30s, was found dead at the scene of the accident .
