Rollover in Gómez Palacio leaves three young people injured

On Monday morning, a spectacular rollover occurred on the highway to La Torreña in the city of Gómez Palacio, leaving three young people injured.

The accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on the aforementioned road, near the Rastro Municipal, very close to La Virgen del Desierto.

The crashed vehicle is a Nissan NP300 pickup truck, white in color, with license plates from the state of Durango.

It was driven by Alberto, 40 years old, who lives in the Las Brisas neighborhood of Lerdo.

It was reported that while driving on the aforementioned road, The man lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and the pickup truck ended up overturned in the bushes. .

A 19-year-old man named Cristian and two minors aged 17, who were travelling as companions, were injured in the incident.

Some motorists who were driving in the area and saw the accident immediately called the state emergency system 911 to report the road accident.

Red Cross paramedics arrived at the scene and transferred the injured to a city hospital for medical attention.

Elements of the Fire Department and Civil Protection also provided support to avoid any risk of fuel spillage.

Agents from the Directorate of Security and Citizen Protection guarded the area while rescuers carried out their work.

The Traffic and Road Safety Experts were informed of the accident and prepared a report on what happened.

The damaged unit was removed from the scene with the help of a crane. and deposited in a corral in the city for safekeeping.

Finally, the case was referred to the competent authority to continue with the procedures established by law.
