Pumas has made several changes to its roster ahead of the start of the 2025 Liga MX Apertura , when it faces Santos on Matchday 1 .

With the absence of foreign players from their squad, such as Lisandro Magallán, Robert Ergas, Rogelio Funes Mori, Ignacio Pusseto, and Leo Suárez, in addition to goalkeeper Alex Padilla, Pumas will debut against Santos.
