After his temporary withdrawal from social media and a brief hiatus from music production, renowned Colombian artist J Balvin returns on July 17, 2025, with the surprise release of his latest album, 'Mixteip.'

With the goal of establishing himself as one of the most visionary singers of this generation, the singer of "Mi Gente" is resuming his career with the release of 10 tracks that highlight his distinctive essence within reggaeton.

However, the artist also seeks to take new risks by expanding his music and including different genres that allow him to explore his roots and the future he seeks to project.

In that sense, ' Mixteip' is a journey that honors Latin music and the rhythms that have managed to spread to different parts of the world . To make the experience more complete, J Balvin recorded several of these songs with important figures in the music world.

At the heart of the album is 'Zun Zun,' a stunning focus track that captures the classic energy of reggaeton and the nostalgia of the verses that revive the genre's golden age.

The official video for this song was shown on MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Flow Latino, and on the Paramount screens in Times Square, so it's expected to have a big impact on the Colombian's fans.

Another of the great hits that stand out within the work is 'Misterio' , a song with the necessary ability to camouflage itself perfectly among different sounds that identify the reggaeton singer and salsa legend Gilberto Santa Rosa.
