Although he publishes excerpts of interviews conducted several years ago on his profile, revealing details about his life, a few days ago he shared a video in which he asserted that, no matter the time, he continues working.
"Regarding the question you asked me about whether I'm still active, yes, I'm still active. I will remain active until the very end," Cifuentes expressed on social media.
In addition, he explained that he is currently working as a mechanic at a workshop in the Floresta neighborhood that specializes in Mercedes-Benz automobiles, where he is in charge of engine repairs.
However, his work commitments aren't limited to this location. Every Saturday, he provides services at a New Spring location. He also assists people who call him with mechanical problems with their vehicles.

According to what Cifuentes revealed in several interviews, on November 28, 1987, he was driving through the town of Fontibón, near the train tracks, when a dump truck collided head-on with his car.
The man had to be rushed to the Bogotá clinic because the impact caused him to lose consciousness, while his face was impaled on barbed wire.

Four days later, the mechanic regained consciousness and asked for the room light to be turned on. After receiving no response to his request, Jorge realized his vision had been severely affected.
From that moment on, he focused on recovery and not letting his disability ruin his passion for fixing cars.
