Three members of the Hidalgo Attorney General's Office and a lawyer were shot during an inspection.

PACHUCA, Hgo. (apro).- Three members of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Hidalgo (PGJEH) and a private defender were injured after a shooting during an inspection in the El Cid neighborhood, in the municipality of Tizayuca, Hidalgo.
Following a response operation, five people were arrested by investigative police, also affiliated with the PGJEH. The detainees will be brought before the Public Prosecutor's Office for an initial hearing to be charged and a request for their inclusion in the case.
According to the preliminary report, the attackers were traveling in several vehicles when they opened fire on the officers, who were on a property as part of the investigation.
The Attorney General's Office confirmed that the injured are two men, investigators, and an expert, as well as a private attorney who serves as legal advisor on the case from which the ministerial inspection arose.
The PGJEH also announced that the alleged perpetrators were seized two shotgun-type firearms.
