Writer José María Guelbenzu dies at 81

José María Guelbenzu died this Friday at the age of 81. The Madrid-born writer, known for novels such as "El mercurio," "El río de la luna," and "El esperando," was also a literary critic. Guelbenzu, born in 1944, published his last novel, "Una gota de cariño," in the spring as a tribute to classic 19th-century writers.
