Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?: One of the richest people in the world that no one knows
The world is full of mysteries, the number of which has increased with the arrival of the internet, prompting users to try to solve them, many of them still unsolved. One of them is Satoshi Nakamoto, the 11th richest person in the world, whose true identity remains unknown.
Every time the virtual currency Bitcoin reaches a historic market valuation, Nakamoto's name begins to appear on all networks by the more than 128 billion dollars in his virtual wallet that have remained untouched for years, making the enigma that it represents even greater.

To understand who (or who) Nakamoto is, we must go back to the history of the world's strongest cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was created in November 2008 as a digital currency project that would contain value and be accountable in the real world, backed by physical cash.

In 2009, the network that would base its entire operation on the Bitcoin protocol was created, giving rise to the global cryptocurrency scene. Since then, 16 years ago, the currency began to increase in value, and today, its valuation seems to have no ceiling, reaching historic highs every so often.
Satoshi Nakamoto was the one who, with the sending of the " White Paper ," an email that outlined the project, created Bitcoin in 2008. However, for those same 17 years, his identity has remained a mystery to the entire internet. There is even speculation that it wasn't just one person, but a group operating under that person's pseudonym.

Last Thursday, July 10, his name reappeared on the internet, and the mystery began a new chapter after he became the 12th richest person in the world. A day later, on Friday, July 11, he climbed to number 11, surpassing Michael Dell, chairman of Dell Technologies.
Nakamoto's fortune consists of the 1.096 billion Bitcoins he holds in his virtual wallet, which are increasing in value daily. At the time of writing, this represents more than $128 billion, with a profit of over $7 billion in a single day. In Colombian pesos, the sum amounts to more than $515 trillion ($515,584,366,044,408.00 as of July 11, 2025).

The Nakamoto mystery has been so great that blogs have been created to try to cooperate in the search for his information. Among the actions taken in this case have been analysis of his writing style, the hours he is active, and many other clues that could lead to his real identity. Some forums have associated this person with the Cypherpunk movement, an anonymous group of cryptography experts who have pioneered the development of secure financial solutions.
His identity remains a mystery, and the currency he created more than a decade ago continues to gain value as it becomes increasingly integrated into a financial market that, over time, continues to abandon tradition.
