San José University confirms that Juliana Guerrero did not take the Saber Pro exam to obtain her degree: investigation announced

The San José University Foundation confirmed this Thursday that Juliana Guerrero, appointed as Vice Minister of Youth, failed to take the Saber Pro exam, a fundamental requirement for obtaining the professional degree.
In an interview with W Radio , Francisco Pareja, the institution's legal representative, confirmed that it could have been an error by the institution's secretary general and that the degree would not be valid due to incomplete requirements.
The official also confirmed to Cambio magazine that Guerrero is registered to take the Saber Pro exam, but has not yet taken it. Pareja also assured the same outlet that a board meeting has been called to determine what error "one of the institution's officials may have made."

Juliana Guerrero's application for the position of Deputy Minister of Youth in the Ministry of Equality and Equity was published a few days ago on the presidential website . However, allegations arose that Guerrero did not meet the requirements for the position and that her resume was even modified within a few days.
Speaking to W Radio, Pareja stated that Juliana Guerrero graduated last June, after 18 months of studies at the institution, and assured that the designated vice minister's Saber Pro exam would be taken in November.
Therefore, there will be an investigation to determine the reason why the diploma was awarded without this degree requirement.
Congresswoman Jennifer Pedraza will file a complaint against Juliana Guerrero for "document forgery." After it was revealed that the university had awarded the diploma to the aspiring vice minister without fulfilling the degree requirement of presenting the Saber Pro to become a professional, House Representative Jennifer Pedraza announced that she will file a complaint against Guerrero for document falsification. She also stated that Guerrero threatened her with the Supreme Court of Justice.
Juliana Guerrero's diploma is invalid. What she did is a crime, it's called "document falsification," and I'm announcing right now that I'm going to report her to the prosecutor's office. Her audacity is such that she's registered to take the Saber PRO exam in November even though she "graduated" in July.… https://t.co/HKs0VeVdnZ pic.twitter.com/DR6czyJz0a

"This is so blatant that this lady Juliana Guerrero woke up this morning threatening to report me to the Supreme Court of Justice for doing my political oversight work and for bringing all these complaints to light," she said in a video shared on her X account.
And he added: "Today I'm giving you the news, Juliana Guerrero, that I'm the one who's going to report you to the Prosecutor's Office for falsification of a public document."
The representative also demanded that the Ministry of Education open a formal investigation into the San José University Foundation and investigate the quality of the degrees it issues to its graduates.
I ask President Gustavo Petro to respect youth, to respect the youth movement, as there are so many young people burning the midnight oil to get a professional degree.
Pedraza called President Petro's attention, explaining that there are many young people with professional degrees, even postgraduate degrees, who are unable to find decent jobs. He said, "Respect the youth movement, because if you truly honored even a centimeter of our cause, you wouldn't be handing over a Vice Ministry that we have fought for and that we have waged war against in the clutches of politicking."
The congresswoman stated that if the President truly recognized the struggle of young people, "he would be recognizing the people who have spent many years preparing and training to put their knowledge at the service of the people."
"We will not allow the Vice Ministry to be handed over to the political circles of Benedetti's clique," Pedraza concluded.

The Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education (ICFES), for its part, issued a statement this Thursday refuting Representative Pedraza's complaint about the designated vice minister's examination.
The ICFES did not announce an investigation into the matter and, on the contrary, reported that "the information presented on social media and in the media by House Representative Jenifer Pedraza Sandoval regarding the presentation of evidence to the ICFES by Ms. Juliana Andrea Guerrero Jiménez is not official and has not been issued or provided by the Institute."
The Institute stated that it has begun work to determine whether its "information system was hacked, altered, or manipulated and whether such action violated fundamental rights and the Colombian legal system."
Following the announcement by the ICFES and the congresswoman, Juliana Guerrero stated that she will initiate legal proceedings against Representative Jennifer Pedraza for the allegations of falsifying a public document.
