Amper wins a €9 million contract from the Peruvian police.

The Amper Group is gaining commercial strength across the Atlantic after being awarded the "Intelligent Video Surveillance System in Private Cloud" project by the Peruvian Ministry of the Interior, through its Perú Seguro 2025 Executive Unit. This project, with an awarded value of 37,077,777 Soles (approximately 9 million euros), aims to improve the operational capacity of the Peruvian National Police through an artificial intelligence-based platform.
The Spanish technology company's solution will integrate and centralize approximately 3,000 video surveillance cameras in 70 municipalities, contributing to crime prevention in particularly vulnerable areas and strengthening the logistical and response capacity of police forces.
This contract represents a significant milestone in Amper's international expansion strategy and its ongoing commitment to developing technologies for public safety. This is Amper's first contract for the security sector in Peru using artificial intelligence , in line with the growth anticipated in the second half of the 2023-2026 Strategic and Transformation Plan for its Defense, Security, and Communications Business Unit.
This award comes just one week after the company's Board of Directors agreed to increase share capital by €77.1 million to address its inorganic growth strategy in the defense and security sector. This financial injection will be made in a ratio of 3 new shares for every 8 existing shares at a price of €0.13 per share . The preferential subscription period will begin on July 3 and conclude on July 16. This capital boost is intended to finance both inorganic growth operations in the defense and security sector and to continue making progress in optimizing the financial structure. Both are objectives included in the 2023-2026 Strategic and Transformation Plan that the Amper Group is implementing, which is already halfway through.
