LIVE Amazon Prime Day 2025: We're Tracking Deals & Trends All Day

LIVE Amazon Prime Day 2025: We're Tracking Deals & Trends All Day

Remember 2024? Who can forget! Things were, well, not exactly great, but surely better than this. We had a clear-cut and universally beloved album of the summer. It was called “Brat” and the cover was widely acclaimed and not mired in controversy like this year’s top contender. “Brat summer,” we called it.

[Infomercial voice] Now you can relive those halcyon days with the remix version of Charli XCX’s iconic Brat on two full-length cassette tapes, on sale today for just $16. Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat has all your favorites from that brief but relatively hopefulish time, including “Girl, so confusing,” “Apple,” and, of course, “360.”

The summer of 2024: You might say, “I think about it all the time.”

Lego

Breaking RV Adventure Building Set

I use my Amazon cart like a personal wish list, and have had a few things sitting in it for decades. I may or may not ever buy and read Winesburg, Ohio but I’m not removing it until I’ve lost the notion I had roundabout 2006 and/or noticed it’s been unavailable stock for a long time.

Have you looked at your Amazon cart yet today? My favorite moment of Prime Day is going there to see all the bright red discounts on all the things I’ve considered purchasing at The Everything Store, including The Everything Store and also the Breaking Bad Lego set above. So much is on sale! But, sadly, not these these grill lifts for the Big Green Egg which I added to cart in 2014 when I got my Egg.

Alani Nu

Pink Slush (24-Pack)

I am a huge fan of Pete Cottell and his fabulous and hilarious energy drink ranking, but it is my personal opinion that Alani Nu deserves the number one spot. It is borderline disgustingly sweet (despite having 0 grams of sugar) and it doesn’t try to be anything else. The first time I tried the Pink Slush flavor I was flabbergasted at how it managed to distill “pink” into a flavor. Don’t ask me what it tastes like. It tastes like pink, and I like it. A 24-pack of pink goodness is $14 off right now, as are many other Alani Nu iterations, including Cherry Slush (which tastes like “red”), Watermelon Wave (which tastes like a pool floatie in a good way), and Dream Float (which is oddly almost savory but is supposed to taste like an orange creamsicle). There are 10 discounted flavors, all told. Alani doesn’t pretend to be anything it isn’t, and I love that. Each can has 200 milligrams of caffeine, ten to fifteen calories, and a baddie aesthetic that makes me feel closer to a Kardashian sister than is probably healthy. If you know, you know, and you can do it for cheap thanks to Prime Day.

It doesn’t get much more “bang for your buck” than Javvy Coffee Concentrate, which contains 80 milligrams of caffeine in a single teaspoon. It usually costs $25, but right now it’s down to $20 for Prime Day (or $15 if you choose Subscribe & Save, which is very easy to cancel after your first order ships). This is the star of an upcoming buying guide, and it’s beyond easy to use—I’m drinking it right now after spending exactly 15 seconds making it this morning. (Or evening?) Mix a teaspoon or two into at least 7 ounces of water and stir for fast, surprisingly tasty, and most importantly quite caffeinated coffee. I like mine iced, but it’s not too bad hot either. If you, too, sometimes work during the witching hour, or you simply want the world’s easiest cup of coffee, Javvy is worth checking out. Five different flavors are up for grabs on Amazon. Original and Caramel are my favorites.
