The unknown WhatsApp function to scan documents directly and send them as PDFs

WhatsApp is one of the most widely used and popular mobile instant messaging apps. While much of its success lies in its instant availability, free access, and lack of revenue sources like advertising, the truth is that updates and new features that are gradually being added also play a significant role.

In this case, although it's not a new feature as such, many people are unaware of this WhatsApp trick or feature, which consists of scanning and then sending the document in PDF format through the app, without needing to use other external apps or a printer to scan documents.

To scan and send PDF documents via WhatsApp, just follow a few simple steps :

1. Open the WhatsApp application on your mobile or device.
2. Join one of the conversations or chats.
3. Within the chat, click on the '+' icon to display the different options.
4. Choose the 'document' option and then click 'scan document'.
5. The camera will open and you will need to place the document in question in the viewfinder.
6. A green document reading box will appear and you will need to take photographs of all the pages of the document you want to scan.
7. Once you've finished scanning, click 'save' to display the full document.
8. This appears as a PDF and can be sent directly.
