A cocktail is much more than a drink; it's an experience. Sipping a cocktail is like entering a short story, written in aromas, textures, and emotions. Global, Wine & Spirits knows this, which is why it decided to bring back the country's largest cocktail festival.
The Mixealo Fest returns this July 25th and 26th to the Chicó Museum Park in Bogotá. This second edition not only promises to delight lovers of fine liquor, but also seeks to transport attendees in a time machine of flavor.
The event's concept is inspired by nearly 100 years of history, music, fashion, and flavors. The journey includes stops at seven venues ranging from the classic 1930s to the avant-garde.
According to data from Global, Wine & Spirits, nearly 6,000 people are expected to attend. In addition to celebrating cocktail culture, they will be able to enjoy live music, immersive experiences, and first-class culinary curation.
In that sense, restaurants such as Insurgentes, Pizza Rola, Libertario, La Lucha, Cabrera, Atick, and Keller, among others, will be present with a variety of options that perfectly complement each journey through the decades and their flavors.

The journey through the history of cocktails is divided into seven stations. Each highlights a special aspect of the era and, thanks to the collaboration of several brands, combines it with a spirit that fits that essence.
- The 1930s (Hendrick's - times of eccentric glamour: this time capsule evokes the hidden glamour and eccentricity of an imagined era between the Victorian era and modern surrealism. Here, Gin & Tonic is transformed into an intimate and sophisticated botanical ritual, where each sip reveals a secret story.
- The 60s (Todowine - times of love, peace and wine): this space seeks to recreate the relaxed and bohemian atmosphere of the era, in which wine flows as a symbol of love, peace and connection with nature.
- The '70s (Jack Daniel's - a time of rock and rebellion): This space is a place of classic rock, rebellion, and endless nights. Amidst ripped jeans, leather jackets, guitars, and smoke, this space pays homage to bars where whiskey takes center stage.
- The 80s (Aperol and rum bar - times of sun and rhythm): Inspired by tropical MTV music videos and beach culture, this space seeks to convey the Caribbean joy of the time, combined with the sun, Latin music, and refreshing drinks.
- The '90s (El Jimador and Cointreau - a time of retro nostalgia): At this stop, the Margarita shines as a Tex-Mex icon and a symbol of a colorful, pop, and carefree decade. The atmosphere is also inspired by the flavors and styles that defined this generation.
- The 2000s (Casa Campari - times of a new millennium): With the arrival of a new century, the experience of creating and drinking a cocktail also transformed. Based on this, this space seeks to connect with those changes, such as the arrival of signature bars and non-alcoholic cocktails.
- The 2020s (Patrón & St-Germain - avant-garde times): Inspired by the bohemian aesthetic of Tulum, this space fuses the natural, the artisanal, and the floral, in an open-air setting where each cocktail is a work of art.
