The challenge is to make the best chicken burger in the country. To determine who takes the crown, this edition will feature chefs, food influencers, and food lovers, who will travel to different cities to taste and select the most outstanding burgers.
But the event doesn't stop there. The festival also aims to promote the versatility and flavor of Colombian chicken.
In this context, a digital component will be incorporated to give attendees the opportunity to record their visits and make recommendations for those in the competition. This will be done through a virtual passport, with a prize awarded to the person who collects the most stamps.
According to the organizers, more than 240 restaurants will join this challenge with their unique versions of this dish.

"From exemplary traditional recipes to the most daring fusion proposals, the participants' offerings will demonstrate that chicken is an ingredient of all kinds and can create memorable gastronomic experiences," they emphasized.
The call for entries is still open, so those interested can check out the details at www.festivaldelpollocolombiano.com to join this celebration of flavor.
'Chicken Masters'As part of this celebration, Fenavi and Fonav presented a documentary series that explores different regions of the country to tell the stories of those whose seasoning has made chicken a symbol in Colombian kitchens.
The series is a manifestation of the concept 'The Country of Chicken,' which seeks to bring to the screen stories that blend tradition, memory, and gastronomic pride , and show how this everyday food reflects the cultural identity of those who prepare and share it.

One episode will premiere each month between July and November, each dedicated to the gastronomy of a region: Bogotá, Medellín, the Caribbean Coast, Santanderes, and the Pacific.
"'El país del pollo' seeks to reconnect Colombians with their cultural identity through food, showing how chicken is not just an everyday staple, but a shared history that has united generations around the table," its creators emphasized.
