In Oise, a teenager killed by a knife, three suspects arrested

A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death on the evening of Tuesday, May 20, near a Lidl supermarket in Nogent-sur-Oise (Oise), the Senlis public prosecutor announced in a press release. Three suspects, including two minors, were arrested and taken into custody.
"Shortly after 7 p.m., a 17-year-old minor was attacked by several individuals near a supermarket on Rue Gambetta," explained Loïc Abrial. "Wounded by a knife, the type of which remains to be specified, the minor quickly lost a lot of blood. Treated on the scene by emergency services, he underwent numerous resuscitation procedures. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead that evening."
According to Le Parisien, which quotes the city's deputy mayor, Moktar Allouache, the victim "was hit with an axe on the road before collapsing in the parking lot and bleeding to death."
The three people arrested were "aged 19, 17 and 16," Mr. Abrial said, adding that they were unknown to the justice system. "The reasons for the attack are unknown at this stage," the prosecutor also said. A "crime investigation for murder" has been entrusted to the local judicial police service (SLPJ) at the Creil police station.
