Musk divisive, Zuckerberg rejected: poll reveals Americans' opinion on the two tech bosses

It's hard not to know Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg in the United States. Since Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election, the two tech bosses have often been talked about, especially the former. Thus, less than 3% of Americans have never heard of Elon Musk and 6% of Mark Zuckerberg, according to a Pew Research Center survey .
More importantly, the survey of 5,086 adults found that Americans' views of the two billionaires are more negative than positive.
In detail, 54% of respondents have an unfavorable opinion of Elon Musk while 42% have a favorable opinion. Unsurprisingly, Republicans (73%) have a much more favorable image of the one who is close to Donald Trump than Democrats (12%). And, conversely, 85% of Democrats view the one who heads the government efficiency department (Doge) with a bad eye, compared to only 24% of Republicans.
A party affiliation that has no impact on Americans' opinion of Mark Zuckerberg, 67% of whom said they have a negative image of him. As the Pew Research Center poll reveals, the majority of members of both parties have an unfavorable opinion of the Meta boss.
Despite the changes he has implemented to curry favor with Donald Trump , 6 out of 10 Republicans view him negatively. A figure that rises to 87% among Democrats. Republicans (34%) and Democrats (17%) are also few in number to have a favorable opinion of Mark Zuckerberg.
