Over 700,000 euros in damages: Romanian telecom cable theft network dismantled in western France
A telecom cable theft network operating in Loire-Atlantique and Maine-et-Loire was recently dismantled by the Nantes research brigade, BFMTV learned from the national gendarmerie.
The gendarmerie is referring to a "particularly organized team of criminals" of Romanian nationality. The network was dismantled after three people were arrested in the act of stealing more than two kilometers of cables on Tuesday, July 29.
