"Women can do whatever they want in aviation today," emphasizes Catherine Maunoury, aerobatic ace and patron of the air show taking place this Sunday at the Meaux-Esbly airfield (Seine-et-Marne). She will be there, along with others, to showcase her talents and discuss all the careers in this field.

For the fifth edition of the Meaux air show (Seine-et-Marne), now called the Roissy Meaux Airshow, the place of women in aviation has been chosen as the theme. This is not an artifice according to Catherine Maunoury , patron of the event and who, in addition, will fly as part of a patrol of four aircraft.

"Women can do whatever they want in aviation today. There are around 80 professions related to aircraft. It's not just piloting. The meeting is an opportunity to talk about it," explains the former director of the Air and Space Museum at Le Bourget (Seine-Saint-Denis), a ten-time French champion and two-time world champion in aerobatics, and current president of the Aéro-Club de France.
