At the Venice Dance Biennale, the raw talent of the Bullyache duo

Need to get away from the crowds gathering at the ever-increasing ice cream parlors in the Venetian alleyways to catch your breath? Head to Via Garibaldi, the city's only truly wide street, located in the Castello district. Suddenly, the horizon widens, your gaze wanders. Take a deep breath and let's go! Attack the path that leads to the end of the Arsenale, where the Dance Biennale performances are on display.
Directed by choreographer Wayne McGregor since 2021, the event maintains a high level of curiosity, which the 19th edition, which runs until August 2, does not deny. This year it is sheltered under the generic theme of Myth Makers, an ambitious and stimulating problem . Making a myth, or even becoming one yourself, is not given to everyone. No less than 160 artists in total for 75 shows and events participate in this edition which clashes styles and signatures including those of the Portuguese Tânia Carvalho, the Spaniard Marcos Morau or the Chinese Tao Ye.
