Chamber music with Lisa Strauss and Kim Bernard in Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix

Chamber music with Lisa Strauss and Kim Bernard in Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix
Cellist Lisa Strauss will perform this Saturday, May 10. Patrick Truchassout

The rural center, in partnership with the Gautier Capuçon Foundation, is organizing a piano and cello concert with Lisa Strauss and Kim Bernard, laureates of the foundation, on Saturday, May 10, at 8:30 p.m., in the church of Saint-Michel-de-Villadeix.

Following the success of pianist Gabriel Dulriat (Capuçon Foundation), who completely captivated the audience of connoisseurs and music lovers gathered or even standing in the church with his interpretations and musical warmth, two other talents from the foundation will perform in the church this Saturday, May 10, and should delight the spectators with performances of Rachmaninov, Brahms and Piazzola.

It's a good idea to arrive early to hear cellist Lisa Strauss, who, after starting to learn the piano at a very young age, turned to the cello, now her preferred instrument. She entered the conservatory at 16 and joined Gautier Capuçon's excellence class in 2020, and has twice participated in the "Summer in France" tour.

Kim Bernard, for his part, began playing the piano at a very young age and was admitted, with a special exemption due to his young age, to the Lyon Conservatory. He also toured "A Summer in France" twice and became the first laureate of the Gautier Capuçon Foundation.

Concert, Saturday, May 10, starting at 8:30 p.m., at the church of Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix. Admission: €15, free for children under 12. Book online or by text at 07 85 83 97 59.
