Doubs. The success of the summer markets continues unabated.

During the summer, several towns in the Doubs region offer evening summer markets. And the recipe seems to be a hit with the public, as it's a resounding success. Between discovering local products and artisans, opportunities to eat, and meeting friends and acquaintances, the formula still has a bright future ahead of it, as the following four examples illustrate.
"This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Belvoir markets," says Jean-Noël Courgey, one of the event's organizers since the first edition. This 20th anniversary still attracts as many visitors as ever: between 800 and 1,000 every Friday, according to Jean-Noël Courgey.
The festivities will take place mainly under the covered market, until August 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. "Even longer," adds the organizer, who points out that visitors continue to arrive until 10 p.m. this year. "And as long as the exhibitors are selling, they're working. Because people go to eat and then return to the artisans to make more purchases."
