Free Sangria is back for the Bodega Festival

This is already the 7th edition of the event. A must-see summer event in the Ribéracois region, the Bodega Festival will make its grand return on Saturday, August 2.
Organized by the Ribéracois cultural festival entertainment committee, the event will take place, as it does every year, on Place Débonniere, in the heart of the city center.
“We wanted to return to our roots”In the past, this festival has hosted numerous bands such as Wazoo, Elmer Food Beat, the 80s craze with Patrick Hernandez and Jean-Pierre Mader, and most recently, Collectif Métissé last summer. For this 2025 edition, at 6 p.m., the local Périgord rock band "Cadillac Rumble" will kick things off. Then, at 9:30 p.m., Sangria Gratuite will raise the temperature. "We already hosted the band during the first edition of the bodegas in 2017," says Aurélie Bourg from the entertainment committee. "We wanted to get back to our roots, with festive rock!" Finally, DJ Balpores will provide the late-night atmosphere from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
On site, you'll of course be able to enjoy a meal featuring local produce and refreshments at the refreshment bar run by the entertainment committee. Admission to the site is free.
