Saint-Loup-Géanges. “Only local, only good” at the Omega Spring Market

For the second year in a row, members of the Omega association are organizing their spring market. 36 stalls will be open to onlookers on Sunday, May 4th. "Only local, only good, only homemade!" This is the motto of Édouard Reyboz, president of this association, which has been active in the town for many years. "We want the public to find at this market products from sustainable agriculture, decorations using noble materials, plants, honey, eggs, mushrooms, cheeses, and local fruit juices. No product presented is made in China." There will also be herbal teas, vanilla, and snails, as well as a gardening advice stand.
Crafts will be showcased, such as basketry, pottery, sculpture, brewing, distilling, jewelry making, and more. "There will also be a bookstore specializing in books on gardening, nature, and various cultures," adds the president. Three food trucks will offer fast food (Malagasy, Franche-Comté, and Latin American).
Sunday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Jean-Marie Desvignes Esplanade (between the church and the school). Admission: €3 (profits will be donated to Madagascar, benefiting schools and hospitals that cannot afford to meet everyone's needs).
