Salim Ejnaïni, blind, takes on “Ninja Warrior” on TF1: “I didn’t get any special treatment”

This is unprecedented in the history of obstacle courses: Salim Ejnaïni is the first blind contestant to participate in the show on French television this Friday. A goal that took three years of preparation.

An extremely powerful moment in "Ninja Warrior." During the launch of season 9 of the entertainment program this Friday, July 4th on TF1 (at 9:10 p.m.), viewers will witness the journey of Salim Ejnaïni. A professional show jumper, presenter of the show "À vos marques" on the Sport channel in France, speaker, and content creator, this 33-year-old contestant has the particularity of being blind.

While this handicap may seem insurmountable in such a competition, Salim isn't used to backing down from difficulties. "I've been used to encountering walls. I published a book called The Impossible Is a Good Start (Fayard), so I've encountered some impossible challenges. And often, they've been the beginnings of great opportunities."
