This departmental museum is participating in the Open Gardens initiative, which invites visitors to explore more than 200 gardens in the Paris region in a different way. Syrian poet and filmmaker Hala Mohammad will offer a poetic and musical reading in Mallarmé's garden. For this exiled artist, poetry has become a way of life that defies fear. The reading will be followed by a guided tour of this writer's house nestled on the banks of the Seine, facing the Fontainebleau Forest.

At the Mallarmé Museum in Vulaines-sur-Seine (Seine-et-Marne), Sunday at 2 p.m., free musical reading, 3 p.m. guided tour by reservation at 01.64.23.73.27. Prices: 6 euros, 4 euros for over 65s, free for under 26s. musee-mallarme.fr
