A visit to the house of poet Stéphane Mallarmé and his garden takes place this Sunday in Vulaines-sur-Seine (Seine-et-Marne). LP/Jean-Baptiste Quentin

This departmental museum is participating in the Open Gardens initiative, which invites visitors to explore more than 200 gardens in the Paris region in a different way. Syrian poet and filmmaker Hala Mohammad will offer a poetic and musical reading in Mallarmé's garden. For this exiled artist, poetry has become a way of life that defies fear. The reading will be followed by a guided tour of this writer's house nestled on the banks of the Seine, facing the Fontainebleau Forest.
