Weekend of May 10 and 11: six ideas for outings in Île-de-France

Impressive kites in the sky of Essonne, a giant bakery in front of Notre-Dame de Paris, rides for children in Levallois… Here are some of our ideas for outings this Saturday and Sunday, in Paris and the suburbs.

This Sunday is the last day to enjoy it. Like in Chartres or Amiens, the Basilica of Saint-Denys in Argenteuil offers a grand light show at nightfall. Starting at 9:45 p.m., its 19th-century neo-Romanesque façade transforms into a giant screen to host a dazzling video mapping show.
For nearly an hour and a half, during this ballet of lights designed by four international artists, colors blend together and figures follow one another to dazzle you and magnify the monument. Don't hesitate to enjoy it with your family, especially since it's free.
