The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region inaugurated 4,500 m2 of new space within its digital campus on Thursday, May 22.

The former headquarters of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, located in Charbonnières-les-Bains, which has been completely renovated to accommodate the digital campus, was expanded by 4,500 m2 in early 2025. Inaugurated by the president of the region, Fabrice Pannekoucke, this Thursday, May 22, the new wing of the campus will accommodate clusters and competitiveness hubs.

With this €20 million investment, the region intends to make it " a place of diversity, abundance, and encounters. A place of life and emergence of projects ," thanks to its new coworking areas, offices, training rooms, and an amphitheater. As a reminder, since 2021, 10,000 m2 have been dedicated to the Region's teams "in order to meet the ambitions of the regional digital policy."

A final phase of work is to be undertaken between 2025 and 2030 to develop a training center, secondary and tertiary activity areas, housing and an economic zone.
