Loïk Le Floch Prigent, the group's former CEO, was sentenced to five years in prison and a €375,000 fine. He was convicted of embezzlement and misuse of corporate assets. This marked the end of a long legal saga, and the end of Loïk Le Floch Prigent's career, whose upward trajectory had been linear until then. The former CEO passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 81.
