Franche-Comté. Colruyt Sale: Which Stores Are Being Bought, Which Are Threatened with Closure?

The Belgian group that owns Colruyt stores has decided to withdraw from France and announced the sale of 81 of its 105 stores to the Les Mousquetaires group. In Franche-Comté, which stores will be acquired, and which ones could disappear?
Rumors of a sale had been circulating for several months when, on June 17, the Belgian group announced its withdrawal from France and entered into exclusive negotiations with the Mousquetaires Group. It was then revealed that the latter intended to acquire 81 of the 105 existing Colruyt stores .
For several days now, we've known which ones are affected. As for the remaining 24, they fall into two equal categories: 12 will be taken over by members of the E. Leclerc Movement, while 12 have still not received a takeover offer and could well close in the coming months.
In Franche-Comté, here is the map of the stores concerned and their future.

Of the 30 stores in the region, 29 will be taken over by Les Mousquetaires and are expected to become Intermarché or Netto stores. Only one store, the one in Audincourt , has not been taken over or sold to date and is still awaiting a solution.
With its 1,000 m² and 13 employees, anxiety is the dominant theme for the moment. "We don't know what's going to happen, we're keeping our fingers crossed," said the deputy director of Colruyt Audincourt a few days ago on our website.
While 29 of the 30 stores are being taken over by Intermarché, the picture is much bleaker when it comes to non-supermarket jobs. The buyers have indicated that they are not interested in support functions at the head office, whether in the Rochefort-sur-Nenon offices (the brand's French headquarters) or the Choisey logistics base (all located in the Jura region).
In total, 370 jobs are expected to disappear, as Le Progrès reported a few days ago, out of the 450 that these support functions represent. The others are expected to join and strengthen the Intermarché base located in Dole.
Discussions between Mousquetaires and Colruyt will continue for several months, likely until November 25. Until then, the Belgian company has announced that it is still seeking solutions and will not lay off its employees. Several hundred employees are still holding onto this hope.
