Nazi celebrating the liberation of Paris: Government botches its tribute to the Resistance with an AI-generated video

POV: You're the government, and you're missing your tribute to the Resistance on the occasion of the national day. On the morning of Tuesday, May 27, the official account of the executive branch published a twenty-six-second video on its social networks that was intended to salute the courage of women during the Second World War: the video, in slow motion, tells the story of a woman involved in the Resistance in a TikTok format, subtitled: "POV [for Point of view, editor's note] : you are a woman who fought in the Resistance during the Second World War."

The woman, wearing a wool coat over her shoulders, eyes hollowed by dark circles, walks towards the camera, in a dark alley, against a backdrop of crows croaking. A few seconds later, a hand, visibly hers, places a "clandestine" newspaper in a mailbox, still in this same dark atmosphere. Barely slipped in, the newspaper disappears. With even more dark circles under her eyes, to the point of distorting her face, her hands cuffed behind her back, the same woman is dragged by two German soldiers in the next scene.

A seemingly harmless arrest, since she's celebrating, without a second thought, the liberation of Paris. Especially since the woman in question seems to forgive those who arrested her, as a German soldier is also celebrating the moment, right behind her. All this is accompanied by shouts that sound more like a football stadium celebration than a jubilation scene.
