Renault Group's global sales are growing, particularly thanks to its hybrid and electric cars

The weeks are rolling by and are all different for Renault. After lower financial forecasts and a plunge of more than 17% on July 16 , the group announced this Wednesday, July 23, slightly higher sales, with a total of 1,169,773 vehicles sold (+1.3% compared to 2024) in the first half of 2025. This is thanks in particular to two models: the Renault Clio and the Dacia Sandero were the two best-selling cars in Europe, all brands combined, before the consolidated results in June.
In detail, the group's growth (which includes Renault, Dacia, Alpine and Mobilize) is mainly driven by the brand with the historic diamond, which represents 643,000 passenger cars sold in the first half of the year, an increase of 12.2% between the first half of this year and last year.
