This is an announcement of a change at the top of a company that has a heavy symbolic value: with the appointment of Antonio Filosa , a Fiat loyalist, as CEO of Stellantis, we can say that there are no longer two but only one major French car manufacturer, the Renault group . But some will argue that this is ultimately just another step in the gradual disappearance of the lion brand, so powerful in France for decades.
