These products were sold in Leclerc, Intermarché, Carrefour and Système U stores and have a best before date of May 29 or June 1. If you have them in your fridge, then you should not consume them and destroy them or return them to the store for a refund, indicates the Rappel Conso website .

Details of recalled products

Ingesting food contaminated with Listeria bacteria can cause listeriosis, a rare disease in France that can lead to serious complications and even death in susceptible individuals. The incubation period for the disease can be up to eight weeks.

People who have consumed the recalled fresh pasta and who experience a fever, whether isolated or accompanied by headaches and body aches, are encouraged to consult their doctor and report this consumption, Rappel Conso states. "Pregnant women, immunocompromised individuals, and the elderly should be particularly attentive to these symptoms," it adds.
